Without a doubt, you will enjoy this bit of wedding planning. A lot.
Here’s the frequently asked questions!
What flavours do you offer?
The list of flavours I offer is here
Can I try the cakes?
Yes! Once you have booked in with me, I will send you a box of cakes. I can fit 6 slices in the box, and if that’s not enough I’ll send you two, or three, or four! This is all part of the service and there’s no extra charge.
If you want to try prior to booking in, that’s totally fine - you can pay £25 for a sample box. When you book in for your date, I’ll take that £25 fee off your final invoice - so you aren’t paying more overall. And then if you need them, you can get another box for no extra charge when you are booked in.
Can I have different flavours in each tier?
Yes you can! No extra charge.
By the way, this is true for Lady Godiva and Salome too. You can see the cake itself on these cakes, but they still look ace with different flavour cakes!
What flavours are the most popular?
Well, to be honest, they all are. Go for the flavours you love the most!
What about vegan guests? And guests with allergies and intolerances?
There’s lots of different ways to cater for your vegan guests, or guests with allergies or special dietary requirements. Check out my seperate blog on the subject, here!
Can we go off-menu?
Yes - to a degree. If there’s a flavour you really really want then I might be able to do it for you. If it’s a simple matter of swapping the filling of the cake, that’s no problem. So for example you could have champagne and raspberry (instead of strawberry) if you wanted. If it’s a really fundamental change to a recipe, this might not be possible, as new recipes need a lot of trials to ensure they are reliable enough to stack as a wedding cake, and cut neatly.
Importantly though, the samples are only available as the standard menu flavours.
